Awarded $25,000 Grant from Tri-County Care Management Organization
We've been awarded a $25,000 grant from the Tri-County Care Management Organization (TCMMO) of
Warren, Hunterdon, and Somerset Counties for expanded outpatient counseling and psychiatric services to Medicaid/low income
youth and their families in Warren, Hunterdon, and Somerset Counties.
Services
include individual and family counseling for children and adolescents (and their families) experiencing mental health, substance
abuse, family, school related, behavioral, and/or impulse control difficulties. Those clients needing additional psychiatric/medication
assessment and monitoring services will also meet with our part-time consulting child psychiatrist. This grant will allow
us to provide approximately 420 hours of additional counseling services to approximately 30 additional youth and their families
and approximately 36 additional hours of psychiatric service to approximately 10 youth in the next fiscal year (July 1, 2011
- June 30, 2012). All counseling services will be provided by licensed clinicians.
